Brownies.
Brownies that did not come from a box, which is new for me, as I'm sure you could guess.
Brownies with a delicious cakey middle, slightly crunchy top and awesome chewy 'crust'.
Brownies that may have been eaten for breakfast, even though I'm not a chocolate fan.
Ingredients:
1 1/4 cups butter, melted
2 cups sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
3 eggs
1/2 cup cocoa powder
2 cups flour
Step #1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Step #2: Mix melted butter and sugar in a bowl (not mixer).
Step #3: Add vanilla and eggs and mix until blended.
Step #4: Stir in cocoa.
Step #5: Stir in flour just until lumps are gone - the less stirring the better.
Step #7: Bake for 18-20 minutes at 350 degrees.
