Whew.Despite being extremely old, this has still been an incredibly busy birthday week!
And actually, it's not over yet, as Mini-muffin#2 has his birthday party this weekend and his actual birthday next week.
We both chose age-themed birthday parties.
Mini-muffin#2's: Big Boy. This, apparently, means everything has Buzz Lightyear on it, and he gets to tell everyone his name is Big Boy and open big boy presents.
Me: Old. This means that I get to try to avoid making small talk, don't have to open presents in front of people, get to go home early, and even pout a little bit.
However, amidst all this, I definitely had time to bake and then eat every single one of these super awesome Salted White Chocolate Almond Cookies.
They were truly amazing - how many cookies can satisfy your salt craving and your sweet tooth at the same time?
I also got to make my own cake (soon to come) and pout a little bit more.
Hey, it's my birthday, I can pout if I want to.
