Brie Roll-Ups

 This is my take on these Brie Bites originally from Plain Chicken.  I saw them on Pinterest and immediately wanted to try, but couldn't find the original post (sorry!).

So, in true Awkward Kitchenette form, I had few of the necessary ingredients and had to make my own version.

I call these: Brie Roll-Ups.  And they are GOOD.

You need:
1 thawed sheet of puff-pastry dough
1/4 cup dark brown sugar
1 hunk (? how do you measure soft cheese?) Brie

Step 1: Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees and 'roll out' Puff-Pastry.
(I just unfold it.  Much easier.  And it's on tin foil because that is how the box said to thaw it in the fridge.  And who am I to go against the BOX!?)

Step 2: Cut into eigths.

Step 3: Sprinkle with 1/4 cup brown sugar (this picture doesn't have all the brown sugar on it yet.)

Step 4: Cut the rind off of the Brie.  I have actually no idea if this is really what to do or not, but when I opened the Brie, it was covered with hard stuff.  I didn't figure I'd really want to eat that part, and  recalled hearing of a 'rind' on soft cheese.  So I cut it off - very inefficiently as you can see.  If that is NOT required (and you know about it) then, by all means, skip this tedious step.  
Step 5: Cut the Brie into chunks and place in the center of each section.
Step 6: Roll each one up around the Brie and pinch the edges closed. (Hence Roll-Up)

Step 7: Place Roll-Ups on wax paper on a cookie sheet.
Step 8: Bake at 350 for 20 minutes.  If you added too much Brie, it will explode like such. 
Step 9: Enjoy!
